I feel certain that if, in our homes, parents will read from The Book of Mormon prayerfully and regularly, both by themselves and with their children, the spirit of that great book will come to permeate our homes and all who dwell therein. The spirit of reverence will increase; mutual respect and consideration for each other will grow. The spirit of contention will depart. Parents will counsel their children in greater love and wisdom. Children will be more responsive and submissive to the counsel of their parents. Righteousness will increase. Faith, hope, and charity - the pure love of Christ - will abound in our homes and lives, bringing in their wake peace, joy, and happiness.

Scripture Study Group

I'm considering starting an online scripture study group. Would you be interested? I'll moderate. We'll pick a study topic for each day or every few days and have a discussion via the comments section. Would you be interested?

I tell you what, it depends on how long the reading is. I have a lot of scripture on my plate lately. What are you planning on studying?

I'm thinking we would study the Book of Mormon Sunday School lesson each week. Then if we get through that reading (I'd break it up into smaller sections each day) before the week's out, we'd go with the Relief Society lesson.

I love it! I'm in the nursery every Sunday, I could definitely use the grown up lesson perspective.

Count me in.
