Becoming Provident Providers Temporally and Spiritually by Elder Robert D. Hales
Lets read this talk and discuss what we've learned, in the comments section.
I have yet to read it again, today, but I remember being greatly touched by the words that were spoken.

Another talk that I felt the speaker was speaking right to me. I was surprised to hear him put a food addiction in the same category as drugs and debt. I hadn't thought about that before, and it has given me something to think about as I think I have a food addiction.
There is so much in this talk to learn from. Tips for family budgets, tithing, keeping commandments. I think that it is a talk that anyone that reads it will find something that speaks to them. I am intrigued with the idea of reviewing all the family finances in a FHE type setting.
I hope I'm making some sense! I'm enjoying these posts! Keep it up. :)
Thanks for sharing Amanda!
This was a very good talk. I love how they (the Apostles, Prophets, General Authorities) are able to reprimand with love. They often talk about serious problems and still I am able to feel love and hope. I'm grateful to know that they speak with the Spirit and are saying what Heavenly Father wants us to hear. As strange as it may sound this talk reminds me of the perfect way to parent. Reprimand/discipline with love and the Spirit and it'll go deeper.
I too have a food addiction and it was interesting to hear it put on the same level as pornography and excessive debt. I have much to work on, but I feel great love and hope toward the task that needs accomplishing.
