This week's conference talk is Come What May, and Love It by Elder Joseph B. Wirthlin.
This talk focuses on how we react to adversity and how it is a major factor in how happy and successful we can be in life.

When Stanton & I first heard this talk, we just had to laugh because Stanton is THE driver he was describing. To a T. It was a fun little eye opener. Since then, he's tried to be a little more relaxed (trying being the optional word here) when driving.
Aside from driving, though, this philosophy has really worked wonders in other aspects of life. It really is better to just smile and think positively.
This was probably my favorite talk from General Conference this session.
I LOVED this talk and upon Elder Wirthlin's passing thought how wonderful it was that he left us with this message resonating in our minds! I have a friend whose grandmother died when her mom was very young. Her grandfather raised five children successfully by teaching them to say "Just the way we like it!" when any adversity would come their way. I think this is just another way of saying, "Come what may and love it!" I hope I can always apply these words of wisdom though it certainly is not easy at times!
